First off, when awakening from my scope I was sadden to not receive an update on how everything went. Instead he flew off to the parking lot to leave. I had to insist he be brought back to explain if the procedure he'd just performed on me was successful or not. The next day when he came to follow up he punted all recovery responsibility and instructions for me to some other Dr who haven't been part of the scope at all. He insisted I schedule a colonoscopy to be safe, which I did, but before the appointment I awoke in excruciating pain and rushed to the hospital where I asked that Dr Sheinfeld help me with pain management and possible further testing. That or course didn't happen and for 25 hours I bounced from hospital to hospital searching for help and answers and every time was told that Dr Sheinfeld had to attend to this as it was his specialty. He refused me and type of testing, pain relief or explanation. Instead, hiding behind his horrible assistant to explain that there was nothing they could do and perhaps I should look for another Dr. Obviously I did and immediately canceled the upcoming colonoscopy we had scheduled. I hope nobody ever has to experience the feeling I went thru which I basically sum up as being a hack job then bye! I urge anyone considering this man for any medical care to seriously reconsider this Dr!!!
Dr Sheinfeld HORRIBLE. He was assigned to evaluate me when I was hospitalized with ulcers in my stomach. If I could have know what was to follow I have chosen the pain from the ulcers over the treatment I received from him.
